I am raising funds to raise awareness for ALS. Most of you know my father passed away from a very short battle with this horrific disease. Please consider any small contribution.
- Someone is diagnosed with ALS every 90 minutes.
- ALS usually strikes people between the ages of 40 and 70, but it can strike anyone at any time.
- Military veterans are twice as likely to develop ALS.
I'm doing something about that. I've joined the WalkALS to raise awareness, show people living with ALS that we support them, and raise money for research and support services until we find a cure.
The money we raise funds vital programs for ALS families including:
-Medical equipment loans and referral services
-Support groups Education
-Advocacy efforts for access to care Research towards slowing the progression of ALS and finding a cure
