Hello all!

In Fall of 2022, my Granny, Eileen Dermody, was diagnosed with ALS. She lived in Ireland, where she was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease (a sub type of ALS). Over two years before she passed away, she had the full support of our family and was able to access much needed care such as motorized wheelchairs, PT, OT, a specialized car for the wheelchair, and many medications to help control her symptoms and pain.

My Granny was very lucky in that Ireland has a robust ALS foundation that paid for almost all of her needed equipment and medication. Having seen the profound impact this disease had on my family and my Granny, I would like to pay it forward and support individuals who have this disease here in Reno.

If you are able to donate or participate, you have mine and my family's deepest appreciation.
