Welcome to My Walk ALS fundraiser!
Hello friends and family! This year will mark our 7th year walking (8th official walk event) to raise money to help fight ALS and support those living with the disease. The walk will take place on Sunday, Oct 26th this year. That is just one week after the anniversary of the day we lost my Father-In-Law, Brent to this ugly disease. You can help us by donating to our team (no donation is too small!), sending prayers for those effected by the disease, sending us positive vibes or encouraging messages or coming to cheer us on at the event! We appreciate all the support we can get!
Thank you for helping me reach my Walk ALS fundraising goal! The Walk ALS raises funds to support those affected by ALS and to spread awareness of the urgency to find treatments and a cure.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone, and presently there is no known cause or cure.
