Michael, my husband, was diagnosed with ALS in October of 2023.  This is a time that substantially changed our life perspective. One of the biggest changes is how precious life is-that every day is a gift. ALS is such a devasting disease that has robbed my husband of his independence and his strength-two characteristics many of us take for granted.. It has been tough for everyone as we reinvent life from a more sedentary and dependent perspective. Gratefully though he still has his since of humor, his sarcasm and his wit. The other thing that has been so important is the community of support that we have felt. We have been blessed by having the support of our five daughters, our extended family, the ALS foundation,  Care providers and many friends.  I am very grateful and honestly am not sure if I could care for Michael without the prayers and emotional support that we have received from so many. As you know, there is no known cause nor a known cure.  Please help us raise money to help find a cause and a cure for ALS.  I don't want to see anyone else robbed of the most precious gift of health.  Thank you for your support.
